The Cotuit Center for the Arts presents a taste of the Japanese Tea Ceremony, May 5-June 10. the Event opens with a reception on Saturday May 5, from 5-7pm. the art exhibit Harmony and Balance will include traditional and ono-traditional works by Japanese-American artists and others who have been influenced by Japanese culture. I will have a display of my handmade “washi”. The paper moon series encorporates, mica, clay and kozo bark. It is made from kozo and mitsumato fibers. It was all handmade in Japan on the island of Shikoku at the home studio Kamikoya.
